Our party of nine thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was as described and it lived up to previous reviews. The location couldn’t be better for exploring Kirkcudbright and surrounding area. Alan was very helpful both before and during our stay. We hope to return in the future.

Kirkudbright has history, scenery, good cuisine, a planetarium which caters for all ages, pottery painting and even small supermarkets. Everything was nearby and we had a wonderful weekend. The house is beautiful and comfortable. The hot tub seats 6 which was helpful. Just watch out for the low lintel into the kitchen, one of our party took a nasty bang to the head.
