An original 18th-century fisherman’s cottage with magnificent views over the Solway Estuary with wood-burning stove and wheelchair access.. Peacefully set with panoramic views over countryside to the Nith Estuary, these detached, single-storey holiday cottages have their own garden and have been furnished and equipped to a comfortable standard. This cottage is in a great location. Positioned on the banks of the river Nith there was plenty of wild life as well as farm animals to be seen. Also the local fishermen trying to catch trout . Burns fans are spoilt for choice. The cottage itself has plenty of crockery, pots and pans etc. A welcome pack which included eggs was waiting for us. Each of the bedrooms has its own shower and toilet with a bath in the double room. Will definitely be looking to book again some time in the not too distant future.
