Was so bad we ended up going out to purchase scented candles. Owners are very aware of the sewer problem⦠Iâm guessing thatâs why there is lots of air fresheners (the cheap kind that donât do much) all over the place! Spokes were missing from the staircase, the space was big enough for my 1year son to fit through, also had a lot of movement (seriously needs looking into) health and safety issue The jacuzzi bath

The facilities were perfect, the kitchen had all the equipment we needed for our varied meals. Bedrooms had pleasant outlook over the countryside. Our bed was very comfortable, the others in the group were more than happy with thereâs. Comfortable lounge with lots of space for all 9 of use to enjoy each others company. The owners were on hand to solve a tiny problem we had. I would recommend the Chesterâs as a first class venue for a extended family visiting Dumfries and surrounding area.
