Shetland Cottage is a delightful cottage, named after the Shetland Ponies that roam the surrounding farmland and rests on the outskirts of Dalbeattie, in Scotland. This single-storey property has a lovely light decor and has been furnished to a high-standard, with an open-plan living space giving you the space to unwind into the evening. Gather at the dining table to enjoy a deliciously prepared home-cooked meal, whilst the adjacent kitchen provides a range of appliances for you to cook up some meals or a hearty breakfast. Retire to either the double or twin bedroom, with the master boasting an en-suite shower room for your convenience. Delight in the family bathroom which offers an elegant bath so you can take a warm soak in the tub in the evening. Outside, you will benefit from your very own partially enclosed garden area where you can take a refreshing drink and soak up the sun rays, or take a warm dip in the hot tub and relax in the bubbles. Could do with crab bars on the bath bit difficult getting out if elderly like our selfs and stonger light out side for the hot tub Could only use it during the daylight

However the bed was really bad. Very hard to the point we had to buy a topper to get slightly better sleep. The property is clean and tidy and does have everything you need. WiFi shouldnât be advertised as doesnât exist in the property and is fulse advert. The surroundings however are beautiful and so relaxing. When advertised an enclosed garden for the dogs this needs again to be sorted as would have been a great addition to the property. The mold in the bathrooms also need sorting. The owner was pleasant and sorted an issue we had with the property. Maybe would be good idea to meet you when leaving to ask any of these questions. I want the owners to take these on board as actually the location is stunning and the property needs a few tweaks and it would be amazing. Many thanks âºï¸

Road,/track to it initially not good. I was advised to use alternative. Could have done with updating. Nowhere to hang wet costs, muddy boots etc. Quite old fashioned. Felt outside bit rough and needed tidying up. Position good for visiting places. Super scenery. Very nice and informative hosts.
