The property is less than 50 metres from a shell beach, which kids will love exploring, and the lively village of Kippford is just 1 mile away. Here, you’ll find two friendly pubs and a bustling sailing scene, complete with yacht moorings and regular regattas. Walkers can join Jubilee Path or the Rough Firth Road to explore scenic routes towards Rockcliffe (5 miles), while cyclists can try out the 7Stanes trails in Dalbeattie Forest (1 mile). A short drive opens up sandy beaches, fishing spots, golf courses including Southerness (12 miles), and the wild landscapes of Galloway Forest Park (26.5 miles).

You’ll have a Jack and Jill en-suite bathroom and a family bathroom featuring both a bath and a separate shower. A separate WC and a cot room add extra practicality, making it easy to accommodate younger guests.

There’s ample space for relaxing outside too, with an enclosed garden and patio where everyone can enjoy the fresh coastal air safely. You can dine outdoors and watch as children and dogs play. Beyond this, there’s access to a more natural wild garden area with lovely views towards Rough Island and the surrounding estuary. You’ll also have private parking for two cars.
