Another superb sandy beach awaits at nearby Sandyhills (3 miles), backed by the Bainloch Deer Park - an excellent spot for wildlife watching. Golf enthusiasts will also be spoilt for choice, with several courses nearby, including Colvend Golf Club (2.5 miles) and Craigieknowes Golf Course (3 miles).
