This homely semi-detached cottage rests on the owners working farm in Girthon Valley near Gatehouse of Fleet, a rural location, with good sandy beaches only a short drive away. Inside you will discover an open-plan living area; a charming dining table, and a sofa, create a lovely place to relax morning through to evening. Alternatively, enjoy the beautiful south-facing sun room, a light, airy haven to unwind, before cosying up in the unique mezzanine bedroom, which also houses a collection of comfy chairs. A classic bathroom finishes the properties interior with a quirky overtone, and a patio area is situated outdoors. The town of Gatehouse of Fleet is situated on the Solway Firth in Dumfries and Galloway. The town offers several shops including a small supermarket, chemist, bank and post office, along with two book/gift shops, a kilt making centre and two cafes. All four pubs in the town have restaurant facilities.
