Really good to be sited within the lovely gardens of this National Trust property. The house was clean and functional and had most things that we needed. It's best suited to a couple of adults as the living room/kitchen is quite small. That said, we had a good stay, and its proximity to the great town of Perth is excellent.

The property has been furnished sympathetically to an older era. Good internet, friendly staff on the grounds, very comfortable beds. The property is extremely small downstairs. Fine for a young family, possibly, but there really is no room for the fold out table. Itâs not a place for a lie in - the gardeners start about 7am and used motorised equipment. Itâs my fault for not checking, but there is no washing machine, which is very unusual for holiday lets.

Upstairs main bedroom lovely but you are naughty to describe the bed as super king as it isnât. It is two singles next to each other which as any loving couple will tell you is not the same thing at all. However they were comfortable. But I would suggest that you correct this description. Downstairs space is small and very difficult to find somewhere to open up the dinning (sic) table. Overall we had a good stay on the cottage and the areas around Perth are gorgeous at this time of year. It cost quite a bit more than the previous week at North Mains cottage and was not as good.
