A really comfortable, clean and well equipped cottage, perfect for a peaceful retreat. Caerlaverock castle and WWT a few minutes drive away and both Annan and Dumfries close for shopping etc although I'd advise stocking up for the outset. The Solway coast at Powfoot is only a few miles along the road and the setting allows for beautiful views across the countryside and sunsets beyond Criffel.
