Inn Cottage is a charming property with a prime location next to a welcoming pub serving great food. Guests appreciate the cleanliness and the local area's beauty, making it an ideal base for exploring. While some find the beds comfortable, others suggest improvements for a perfect stay.
The cottage is generally praised for its cleanliness, with several reviews highlighting its spotless condition. However, a few guests mentioned issues such as a smell of damp and the presence of a slug, slightly affecting the score.
The location is highly regarded for its convenience next to an inn and its suitability as a base for local activities. Some guests, however, found the traffic noise and lack of privacy to be drawbacks.
Comfort receives mixed reviews, with several guests criticising the double bed's mattress for being uncomfortable. Some guests found the beds comfortable after apparent changes, but the recurring mattress complaints impact the score.
Facilities are adequate, with mentions of a smart TV and washer-drier. However, guests frequently noted issues with kitchen appliances, the shower, and a lack of information provided in the cottage, indicating room for improvement.
There is insufficient information to assess thoughtfulness as there are no mentions of gifts or special touches provided by the hosts. Therefore, this category cannot be scored.

everthing really good although noted that there was no improvement in the mattress in the double bed that really not comfy

This was our second time at Inn Cottage. It is still the same uncomfortable double bed, all they have done is put a topper on it which is slightly better. The kitchen appliances could do with a upgrade. The cooker hood doesn't work. The hob looks very old as you can't see the numbers. The inside of the fridge door you can't use the shelves. There are no coat hooks anywhere to hang things up. For a small investment this cottage could be great. The location you can't fault it. The pub next door is good for meals. There is absolutely no information in the cottage, ie instructions for appliances, any safety information, phone numbers, or even a visitor book..Unless there is improvements we wouldn't be going back again..

Lovely holiday cottage, equipped with everything we needed. Cottage was also spotlessly clean.Unlike some other reviews, we found the beds very comfortable, perhaps they have been changed recently. The local area has some beautiful walks, just wish we could have stayed longer!
