A charming secluded cottage along a private track, surrounded by spectacular Argyll scenery. Built in the 18th century, the cottage is a former croft and has been fully renovated to make the most of both its history and its surroundings. The cottage offers a real taste of traditional rural Scotland. Sleeping six over three bedrooms, it is the perfect place for families and groups of friends to get away from it all and enjoy either an active break with plenty of hiking in the surrounding hills, or simply kicking back and relaxing in the grounds and exploring the surrounding area and its wildlife.
Entering the property through the storm porch, you reach the living room with its original open fire. A selection of armchairs makes this a cosy place to while away an evening or to spend an afternoon relaxing with a good book. Along the hallway is the kitchen/diner, with a distinctive carved wooden bench around the table, plenty of food prep space and a double electric oven and hob. The large conservatory offers another dining option, with views and doors out to the garden. Also on the ground floor are two of the bedrooms, one twin and one double. There is also a bathroom and shower room.
A spiral staircase leads to the first floor, which is home to an open-plan loft bedroom with a steep coombed ceiling, storage space and floor-level twin beds, ideal for older children and teens.
Outside, there is a large garden with a paved terrace and woodland leading down to the river.
