We had a lovely break at Riverside to visit my sister locally. It was clean, spacious, lovely, and warm, and the beds were so comfy. Very kind treats too when we arrived, which we enjoyed so much, thank you. I would highly recommend this cottage, and we will be back to stay. I've also recommended it to my sister, who has recently moved to Kames for her friends and our family stays. Just a shame we had to leave early to avoid Storm Amy!

Although the house was nice inside, the exterior was shabby. It also lacked bedside lamps in any of the rooms. The description of the village was very misleading as the shop had obviously been closed for some time and the pub no longer does meals.

Good basic cottage, but in need of some TLC. There had clearly been a problem with a water leak in the kitchen, which left a nasty stain on the ceiling. The kitchen itself was well equipped, but too small for five people to comfortably dine in. It was also very difficult to get the house to a comfortable temperature, only the heater in the living room seemed to work now and then. Very cosy living room, good beds and baths. Good location, at about a 30 mins drive from Oban. We had a great dinner in the nearby Loch Melfort Hotel !
