Janeville has a lovely garden space and sea views to admire; this location will truly feel like you have escaped from the hustle and bustle. Nearby is the main street of Ardrishaig where you will find the local welcoming pub, shops and cafes. The Crinan Canal is directly behind the property and is accessed through the rear garden via a set of steps and a gate. Here you will have access to the canal’s towpath/walkway. The path stretches from Ardrishaig, all the way to Crinan, out to the Atlantic West Coast and is popular with walkers and cyclists.
Within a short drive is the town of Lochgilphead. The beautiful islands of Arran, Islay, Gigha and Jura are easily accessible from nearby ferry ports. Head south and visit Tarbert, and the Mull of Kintyre with white sandy beaches and magnificent golf courses, or north to Kilmartin Glen steeped in history and archeological sites. Campbeltown Distillery, and Inveraray Castle and Inveraray Jail also make for great days out. There is an abundance of wildlife and a variety of outdoor activities including sailing, sea fishing, cycling, walking and windsurfing.
