Sitting in the hamlet of Inverlussa, just 1 mile south of Achnamara, this spacious and very comfortable property’s contemporary design and a first floor living area with roof window makes the most of views over the hills and Loch Sween to the Isle of Jura. The loch is ideal for sailing and fishing and the pretty harbour village of Crinan (5 miles) is a lovely spot for watching boating activity. The canal tow path affords pleasant walking and cycling and there are many way-marked woodland walks in the area. Island day trips to Gigha, Arran and Jura and ferries to Mull from Oban are easily accessible, and Lochgilphead is a 20-minute drive away (8 miles), with a selection of shops and pubs.

Lovely place to stay with plenty of wildlife to amuse. The place is remote so be aware of that when going and make sure you stock up provisions as it's easily a 20 min journey to a shop.If you are not a fan of peaty water then make sure you have bottled with you.Could not fault the place itself with all amenities you would expect, both rooms are ensuite. Could do with a drying room for when returning from a rainy walk but I'm being extremely picky.Lots of walking in the area, nature reserves, beach... fantastic holiday

A beautiful redeveloped cottage with excellent facilities in a small village surrounded by fields. The cottage has lots of glass so very cosy and feels spacious. There are fantastic walks locally, easy access to two excellent restaurants and the historical sights of Kilmartin Glen. This is a peaceful place to relax and restore. Our dog loved his stay. We would return, regardless of the season to such a clean, well-equipped and well-designed cottage. In the winter it would be cosy with the open fire. This is a unique one off addition to the local landscape.

Stunning house. Beautiful views. Properly restful. Nightly visits from beautiful birds and elusive pine marten! We love wildlife, so that was special. The swifts nesting at the front door were a joy to watch, going from 5 squished fledglings, to an empty nest on the last day. Very comfortable bed and we were glad of the coolness of the rear of the house during the heatwave. The huge picture windows and those windows in the roof allow the outside to be enjoyed all times of the day and evening. One small issue was swiftly resolved by the owner for our comfort. Lots of areas to enjoy in and outside of the house. A beautiful remote area with eating places within reasonable drives. We loved it.
