Fabulous accommodation, beautifully decorated to a high standard and really spacious. Spotlessly clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Parking for two cars. Garden and surrounding views are gorgeous. Welcome hamper and decorated for Christmas which was really appreciated. Highly recommend and hope to return.Previous reviews mentioned lack of microwave but there is one now. Could do with a blind on window outside bathroom door as there is a drive outside leading to other properties! Apart from this, everything was perfect.

Lovely cottage , every thing you need, a great welcome pack. Beautifully decorated. Safe garden for the dogs. Rural location, so be careful not to run out of essentials! Thanks to the owners for NOT having a Henry hoover, a decent hoover at last !

Lovely cottage, well furnished, in a beautiful location with a lovely garden - if the Scottish weather allows 😁. The cottage is well equipped, although in this day and age it is missing a microwave.Take your own food as food shopping is limited locally, although the small fridge only has a small ice box, not good for frozen food. Probably under-spaced for a family of four. However, the owners, who have decorated and furnished the cottage beautifully, provide the nicest welcome hamper- including our favourites Tunnock tea cakes. These went well with our Tunnocks wafers..There is a strange “cat like” smell as you enter the cottage through the rear porch - not sure what this would be. Lots of places to visit locally and great places to eat - Benmore botanical gardens (treat yourself to lunch in the cafe afterwards- the best chips!), Inverarie castle - visit the Cottage in the village for lunch, great day out in Bute - all of the ferries were wonderful and working!!!, Portavardie is a very nice marina with a very nice relaxed cafe / restaurant - great cocktails and the langoustine were amazing, the hotel in Coliintraive was great for dinner (dogs in the very nice bar) and the staff were special. We would definitely come again.
