Sauchenshaw Cottage is very clean, lovely and peaceful in a pastoral setting. Ron & Allison are excellent hosts leaving breads, milk, tea and coffee for us. Aberdeen Butteries were delicious. Having olive oil, salt and pepper on hand was helpful. Great kitchen, dining room, conservatory and utility room, Master bedroom mattress is quite firm. Ron & Allison provided extra duvets for cold nights. Sauchenshaw felt like our home in Aberdeenshire 20 yrs ago…quite special.Family of 6 adults stayed 5 nights Sep. 2025
