Main Street is a traditional mid-terrace cottage by the coast in the small village of Cruden Bay, Aberdeenshire. With views of the shoreside Cruden Bay Golf Club, Main Street is a peaceful setting for discovering all that Aberdeenshire has to offer, within easy reach of the port city of Aberdeen. Moving through the first-floor, there is also a double bedroom with marvelous wooden furnishings and a full-length mirror so guests can get ready in style. Cruden Bay is also home to a small harbour and the 16th century ruins of Slains Castle which is a breathtaking fortress overlooking the cliffs. Take a short drive into Peterhead, where there is a selection of bars and eateries serving local produce, as well as museums, parks and a thriving harbour where you can sit and watch the boats come in and out. Explore the pretty town of Ellon which lies on the River Ythan and boasts a stunning 15th century castle with surrounding gardens which make for a lovely walk and a great spot for a picnic. If you can tear yourself away from these charming countryside towns, enjoy the hustle and bustle of the port city of Aberdeen which is full of amenities, has a train station, museums and art galleries, gorgeous parks, and the popular Codona's Amusement Park which has classic fairground rides and arcades.
