There are two good sized bedrooms on the first floor, both beautifully presented, in the style of an upmarket boutique hotel. The third bedroom on the ground floor is equally delightful. There is a large modern family bathroom on the first floor. The apartment is cosy at all times of year, thanks to the eco-friendly biomass heating system.

With wonderful walks direct from the property, this is a perfect base for walkers, cyclists and anyone wishing to explore this lovely unspoilt area. There are plenty of quiet country lanes and forest tracks as well as more challenging hills and mountain bike trails for the more adventurous. There is a secure shed provided for mountain bikes and other outdoor gear. The property’s garden has an extensive plant collection and productive kitchen garden. In springtime in particular, there is a beautiful display of alpines and rhododendrons. In summer and autumn, guests are invited to pick surplus produce for their own use. Visitors are also welcome explore the farm itself and meet the animals - there is a large grassed area at the back of the house which is ideal for children to run and play.
