As you enter the property, the cosy living area is to your left and offers the ideal place to relax and put your feet up after a busy day’s activities. There are two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a wet room with a walk-in shower. The garden area comes with a fantastic sitting out area, perfect for a spot of alfresco dining or to enjoy a nice refreshment when the notion takes you. There are 11 acres surrounding the property, take a walk around them to experience the beautiful fields, trees, wild flowers and wildlife that this cottage has to offer.
Glen Nevis Cottage is situated just 5 minutes outside the market town of Inverurie, where you will find a fantastic selection of cafés, pubs, and restaurants, supermarkets and local shops, as well as two local car boot sales every weekend. Aberdeenshire has a fantastic selection of places to visit, including 165 miles of unspoilt coastline, and 265 castles including the famous Dunnottar Castle in nearby Stonehaven for the history enthusiasts amongst us. Aberdeen City (reachable in under 30 minutes) is a vibrant city on the Northeast Coast of Scotland, with a vast beach and a fantastic array of shops, restaurants, amusements and museums to visit when the weather is changeable. This area is a favourite for golfers with 55 gold Courses in Aberdeenshire.
There really is something for everybody that visits this area, the wee zoo at Duthie Park to magical fairy tales at the ‘Den and Glan at Maryculter’ for the kids to beautiful gardens and winter parks, dolphin spotting at Aberdeen Harbour, art galleries, and museums for the mature guests amongst us! We have no doubt you’ll come back refreshed from your break at Glen Nevis Cottage in this glorious and underrated part of Scotland.

Spotlessly clean, well situated Croft cottage with lots and f land to walk around. We saw deer and lots of rabbits and other wildlife. A great base to explore the beautiful Aberdeenshire

We had a lovely week exploring the castles and coast in Aberdeenshire using the cottage as a base. Comfortable beds.The log burner was lovely. Clean and well equipped. Nice touch with welcome pack and keeping in touch but not invasive owners. Would come again.The surrounding landscape was lovely deer in the field and woods early morning.We were blessed with mostly dry bright weather. Don’t miss the seals at Newburgh the beach is stunning.
