Murlin is a stunning, reverse plan holiday home nestled in an elevated position with unrivalled views over the coast and beyond. There is an abundance of beautiful walks to be enjoyed in the area, some leading down to the beach, making this a truly magical place.
On the ground floor are two bedrooms, both with super kingsize beds and stunning en-suite shower rooms. There is an additional family bathroom and a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer, great for drying off after a busy day of exploring. There is an integral double garage with electric door, and within the garage are dog crates and a shower for your four legged friend! Upon heading upstairs, the natural light and views are breathtaking with floor to ceiling sliding doors which lead you to the balcony, boasting views over the coast and sea. The living space is open plan and offers a superb level of comfort. This extends into the beautiful hand crafted and well-equipped kitchen with a wraparound breakfast bar and a walk-in larder. The dining area leads off of the kitchen and is a comfortable space to enjoy home cooked meals together. There are two further bedrooms on this floor, both with kingsize beds and en-suite shower rooms. Outside is a nice garden with a seating area, garden furniture and a gas barbecue, perfect for some al-fresco dining.
Collieston is a former fishing village that provides dramatic views all year round. Just 5 miles away are Newburgh and Cruden Bay golf courses, and the Trump International links course is within a 10-mile drive. There are a number of amazing beaches to visit nearby, including Cruden Bay, Newburgh and Balmedie to name but a few, all within 10 miles! A visit to the neighbouring village of Newburgh to see the seals is a must, as is a tour around the famous BrewDog Brewery located in Ellon. The larger city of Aberdeen is 16 miles away and provides plenty of amenities and attractions. Beach 200 yards. Shop 6 miles, pub and restaurant 5 miles.

We were a family of 7 adults and 1 dog who had a fabulous holiday here. We chose it for the location, the space and layout and no one was disappointed. We loved it. Enough space to be together to hang out or find some alone time. The furniture and fittings were of a high standard and we all loved the toiletries - a nice touch ❤️ with the amazing showers. - hot and powerful. Household supplies were provided - dishwasher tabs, liquid etc and the crockery and cutlery were plentiful and of a good quality. Space for everyone around the table or space for 4 at the island for snacks. Lots of wine glasses and side tables to chill in the lounge and the seating outside was a bonus for the fresh air and the stunning views. A great space for the dog and although x2 dog crates and a dog shower were provided we didn’t use them. Space for 2-3 cars in the garage but we used the plentiful parking outside. Supermarkets in Ellon - 4 miles away but fresh farm eggs in honesty boxes in Collieston. Pubs and takeout places also in surrounding towns. Great beaches and walks nearby with places of interest easily within driving distance. Overall, a great house for a group of adults to he together but not on top of each other!

Lovely, very well equipped house with spectacular coastal views. .Collieston has a lovely harbour and beach and is popular with young families. Only slight downside is there is no restaurant/pub within walking distance.

We had a three week stay and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.We were fully aware of the limited amenities in the seaside village and enjoyed the peace and quiet. It is a great area for walking.Locals we spoke to were most welcoming and we enjoyed the Gala.Communication with the owner was excellent as was the back up service (towel and bedding changes).We booked for three weeks next Summer whilst we were there.
