Loads to see and visit in local area. Cottage really comfortable and clean and warm. New carpets and nicely furnished. Comfortable beds. Hard to fault given it was such great value for money. Would thoroughly recommend.

Apart from during Covid times this was the first time we arrived at the cottage to find absolutely nothing left not even a toilet roll. Perhaps you could tell me what we are paying for when there isn't even a toilet roll in the property. In the past there has always been a tray with teas, coffee, biscuits etc. and a pint of milk in the fridge. The fire place although very clean was not layed ready to light (as it has always been in the past) and there was no fire materials left in the cottage. The fact that is was pouring down with rain and blowing a howling gale didn't help matters trying to find fire materials in the shed and although we managed to find papers and logs there was no kindling what-so-ever. I know the National Trust is struggling financially but surely they can afford toilet rolls !!!!
