Offering fine sea views from the living room, this terraced, mews-style property is just a short walk to the seafront. Stylishly furnished, with a light and airy open plan living space, it is a perfect base for a really relaxing break. Lie in bed and listen to the sound of the sea!
Inverboyndie’s sandy beach is popular with bathers and surfers, and is on the outskirts of Banff, one of the sunniest and driest towns in Scotland. There are good walks from the harbour in Banff, right through to the quaint fishing village of Whitehills on the other side of Inverboyndie, where local fish can be bought. Other attractions in Banff include Duff House, Banff Museum and Bridge of Alvah, and within a short distance is Macduff Marine Aquarium. Take a boat trip in search of dolphins, puffins and whales along the Moray coast from Macduff.
The area is part of the National Cycle Network, with several sections designated traffic-free for relaxed cycling for all ages. The Banffshire coast is a haven for fishing, with good freshwater fishing in the lower beats of the River Deveron and excellent sea fishing. Along the coast are smokehouses and fish shops, as well as quality seafood restaurants. Play golf at one of the many good courses in the area including Duff House Royal in Banff itself, or follow the Whisky Trail inland, through amazing scenery. Beach 200 yards. Shop 200 yards (seasonal), pub and restaurant 1 mile.

This accomodation is simply stunning. In many years of renting holiday accomodation I've not been to a better one. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived. It has great quality furnishings and appliances and everything in great working order. The living area is bright with the patio doors, windows and skylights, and the outlook is interesting. A great view of the sea. There is a car park where folks come to access the beach and kids playground. On a warm sunny day there was a bit of activity which was great to see. I've marked local amenities mid-range as we were a bit disappointed with places to eat in Banff itself. Whilst there are many pubs which we hoped might serve pub grub, that wasn't the case. Spotty Bag restaurant was, however, great, and there are many carry out places. Overall I highly recommend Seascapes.

Could possibly get noisy in busy summer months with swing park and caravan park. June had no issues. Not much privacy when sitting in front patio area. A king bed would be preferable in main bedroom. For two people it was ideal
