Wagglehead cottage had been refurbished to a high quality and standard.Situated by the river Dee in the lovely village of Aboyne.A short drive from the Royal Balmoral estate in the most beautiful part of Aberdeenshire and arguably Scotland itself.Aboyne has a number of convenience shops including a large and well stocked general store. And I would personally recommend the Boat Inn for good quality pub fare.

Wagglehead was the perfect cottage for exploring the area. We had everything we needed and more in a comfortable space. The cottage was beautifully decorated with lots of thoughtful touches and a lovely view across the river to Aboyne. Lots of lovely walks nearby and its only a 10 minute stroll to the local pub for a drink and meal. Would happily stay again.
