York - House - Stay 6 - Garden - Central Location

About this property

York House Stay 6 Garden Central Location is a delightful house in central York, North Yorkshire, offering three bedrooms, en-suite facilities, flexible sleeping arrangements, and a private garden. Suited to families or groups of friends, as well as those travelling with a pet, the house provides an appealing city base for six guests.

Step inside and let the day take shape in the sitting room, where a television and music player provide entertainment between explorations. The kitchen is prepared for self-catered stays, with an oven, hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and coffee maker ready for breakfasts before sightseeing or shared suppers after an afternoon in the city. When the weather draws everyone outside, carry drinks into the private garden, settle around the garden furniture, or fire up the barbecue as evening gathers over the patio.

Three bedrooms offer varied arrangements for families and friends. Two feature king-size beds, while the third has a zip/link bed arranged as a king-size, which can become twins when requested in advance. The mezzanine king-size bedroom also has a double sofa bed available on request for family use. Two en-suite shower rooms each contain a walk-in shower, basin, and WC, while a downstairs cloakroom completes the facilities.

Begin your adventures in York, tracing the city walls before visiting York Minster, exploring the National Railway Museum, and stepping into the past at the JORVIK Viking Centre. Travel to Harrogate for the floral displays of Valley Gardens, the collections at the Royal Pump Room Museum, and the pathways through RHS Garden Harlow Carr. Leeds offers another rewarding family day out, with wildlife encounters at Tropical World, historic galleries at the Royal Armouries Museum, and open lawns at Roundhay Park. Return from each city adventure to gather in the garden, share the day’s discoveries, and plan tomorrow from York House Stay 6 Garden Central Location.

The city of York needs no recommendation, for it teems with interest for the holidaymaker: the Minster, its medieval walls, boat trips on the River Ouse, York Races, museums(including the famous National Railway Museum and the Castle Museum), and the internationally-renowned Jorvik Viking Centre and its "time trip" experience. Summer and winter, there is something to fascinate the whole family. Explore York’s quaint streets and hidden corners, or take an excursion further afield to the Dales, Moors or the coastal resorts of Scarborough, Whitby and Filey. Yorkshire is rich in stately homes, with Harewood House and Castle Howard just two of several within an hour’s drive. A cycling city boasting two theatres, character pubs and great shopping, York has it all.
