We had a wonderful short stay at The Lodge. It was a great location as it’s an easy walk into the centre of York but also on a frequent bus route into town. The house was very well equipped and the owners had left milk, coffee, tea, biscuits, hot cross buns a bottle of wine and much more. I would happily recommend this house as a wonderful place to stay.

Excellent accommodation in a lovely area and within walking distance to York City. Parking was tight for two cars but we managed okay. Would definitely book again if we come back to York.

Beautiful cottage done to a really high standard inside. Lots of space and well equipped. Really quiet neighbourhood and lovely location. Easy walk into the centre of York and to other nice parts just off the centre. Will definitely visit again.
