The Nest is a delightful, comfortable apartment located just moments from the heart of the wonderful market town of Helmsley. Set over two floors, you enter the property on the ground floor which offers a well-equipped, well-presented kitchen area with a breakfast bar should you not wish to dine out in the many restaurants/cafés close by. Up one flight of stairs you are greeted by a good-sized double bedroom with plenty of storage for your stay. Next to the bedroom is a lovely shower room which also features a heated towel rail. On the same floor you have a delightful living area with a comfy sofa and large smart TV, this also boasts a table and chairs. To the side of the property is a small outdoor seating area where you can have a glass of fizz in the summer sun or a coffee whilst taking in the fresh morning air. Stylish decoration and furnishings throughout you will find a cosy and peaceful retreat to come back to after a day exploring what this stunning area has to offer.
With the apartment situated in the heart of Helmsley, the local pubs, restaurants, cafés, shops and Helmsley Brewery are within easy reach. You can explore the stunning North York Moors National Park, which is full of bike trails (bike rack available) and fantastic, scenic walks, including the very popular Rievaulx Abbey. Nearby towns within 24 miles include Malton, Pickering, Thirsk, and York. If you fancied a day at the beach Scarborough and Whitby are only approximately a 50-minute drive away so, why not pack your bucket and spade. The Nest is truly in a fantastic location and gives you that perfect base for the perfect staycation.

A wonderful place and bigger than expected and location is perfect. Very comfortable and clean. Car parking place a definite bonus.

Being just around the corner from market place, everything is on the doorstep. Sharon, the owner, is lovely. The stairs are a bit steep and we had to take our furbaby out on lead to use toilet as it is not enclosed garden, but this did not spoil our stay. Loved every minute and visited other places nearby. Would definitely recommend.

Property is based in a great location very close to shops, local amenities and attractions e.g.Helmsley Castle and Duncombe Park for the National Centre for birds of prey. A short drive away are Rievaulx Abbey, Kilburn for the White Horse and Mouseman workshops plus the town of Thirsk with its James Herriot museum. The cottage is well equipped but there are plenty of places to eat just an easy stroll away
