A lovely cottage in a good setting. We found the lack of a stand up shower limiting. The bath is lovely but think it is a little large for the bathroom, a shower would work better and could still retain the cottage ambiance. The welcome pack and flowers were a lovely surprise. We had a fabulous week despite the bad weather and still managed to go on lots of lovely walks in the area. The moors, pretty villages, Stately homes and Castles make it a perfect destination.

We had a wonderful peaceful week here at this very cosy cottage, the cottage had everything we wanted and a very nice welcome basket was left for us. This village itself was very quite and the surrounding areas are stunning with plenty to do.

Cottage is in a beautiful village with limited amenities but some great walking opportunities. The surrounding area and nearby villages are well worth a visit. The cottage itself is small and cosy. The bathroom is adequate but the bath is very tall and long. With electric heating you only get one tank of hot water a day, not really enough to fill the bath. The kitchen is basic, ok if you plan to eat out most of the time. The off street parking is tight if you have anything other than a small car.For the price it's ok, but when we return to the area we'll consider paying a bit more for better facilities.
