Popeshead Court Apartments are two stunning contemporary apartments in a converted warehouse situated in the historic snickleways in the heart of York city centre.  Perfect for families, couples and business guests, both apartments have two bedrooms and are ideally situated just two minutes from the popular Parliament Square.  York Minster, museums, river trips, city walls, shopping, antiques and restaurants are all within very easy walking distance. The railway station is also close by with regular rail connections to Harrogate, Scarborough and Leeds.

Families and groups are welcome, but please no stag or hen parties.

We have two First Floor Apartments with secure entry and lift or stairs access to the first floor.  Allocated off site parking is also available (guests have access to cars before 10.30am and after 5pm).

Location

Apartments are located in the heart of the city centre. 

By car from Leeds Bradford Airport take the A658 for 14 miles, onto the A59 for 14 miles following signs for York, onto the A1036 for 1 mile following signs for York city centre.

From Manchester Airport take the A538, onto the M56 for 4 miles, then the M60 for 16 miles heading towards Leeds, then the M62 for 26 miles.  Join the M1 and follow signs for North Leeds for 10 miles, then join the A1 for 2 miles, onto the A64 for 10 miles, the A19 for 1 mile, the A1036 towards York city centre for 1 mile, onto the B1227 and bear to the right. 

On foot - Popeshead Apartments are within easy walking distance from York train station.  Take a left on exiting the station, onto Station Road.  Continue along Station Road, cross over the river at Lendal Bridge onto Museum Street.  Take a first right off Museum Street onto Lendal Street.  Walk straight on passing the post office and Mansion House onto Coney Street.  Continue down Coney Street until you see a left turn off for Market Street - take a left opposite Boots the chemist.  Left onto Market Street and right by Superdrug located on your right on to Peter Lane.  Popeshead Court is located at the bottom of Peter Lane (a cul de sac) on the left.
