Lovely location with stunning views looking out over the fields, the hot tub was tucked away making it a great evening escape, its just a pity the weather wasn’t a little better to really enjoy the surroundings as we did get rather wet on arrival but Kim was great and dried our clothes for us. Morning mist was well equipped with everything you needed, I do agree the sinks needs to be bigger to make washing up easier. It was stated in the listing the bed is raised but we found it a little awkward to get in and out of, maybe a step would have helped. Our main issue was the compendium, with photographs and videos taken before arrival which was made very clear on our arrival, we understand ensuring quality & standards but it put us totally on edge for the entire break for fear of damaging or breaking something, as every soft furnishing down to a tea towel was listed with a monetary value to the extent we decided to use our own tea towels, towels etc for the rear of been charged. We do feel we should this should have been made clear before booking as honestly we probably would not of booked this break and looked for something more appropriate for us.

We had a great stay at Morning Mist. Kim and Graham were absolutely lovely and very helpful. Morning Mist is beautiful, and very comfortable and clean. It's in a great, quiet, private location on the campsite. It's about 1 mile from a great pub, and the local bus stop, with regular buses in to York. The hot tub was nice and warm with great views across the field, where, hopefully there's wildlife to watch while relaxing. We would highly recommend staying at Morning Mist, and are looking forward to booking and going again.

We had a lovely weekend staying here. So peaceful and loved seeing the deer everyday! Also was a very convenient location near the city and shops nearby. There were a couple things that could be improved such as there was no comfortable garden furniture outside to enjoy the weather, sink was too small for washing things up, needed more cutlery available too. Also having to drain and fill the hot tub everyday was not very enjoyable but other than that the owners were very attentive and would recommend visiting!
