Perfectly located on the North side of the river, the property is walking distance from all the shops, bars and restaurants, museums and gardens, York Minster, the river Ouse and boat tours, with York Barbican a short drive away. St John’s University is just at the end of the street, and the hospital only 5 minutes away also. To the front of the property is a hidden courtyard and access is gained via the bright front door.

Upon entering the property, you are greeted by the spiral staircase with feature artwork which leads to the two generous double bedrooms and the main bathroom. On the ground floor there is a well-equipped kitchen complete with fridge/freezer, oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, and cupboards and drawers full of crockery, pan ware and cutlery, to ensure you have everything you need to make your stay at John’s House a real home from home. Along the hall there is a downstairs loo, which also houses the washing machine under the stairs. The living room has a modern feature fire, and shelves with books provided for guests to read during their stay.
