Guests that stayed at this property said

Reviewers unanimously mention the spotless condition of the property, indicating exceptional cleanliness.

The property is praised for its excellent area, privacy, and accessibility, with proximity to local attractions and shopping. However, one review notes caution when exiting the property due to a nearby bend.

The lodge is described as comfortable and perfect for couples, with a comfy bed and a lovely shower. One mention of the duvet being too warm suggests a slight deduction.

Facilities are highly regarded, with special mentions of the wood-fired hot tub and high-standard fixtures and fittings.

While the reviews reflect positively on the host's helpfulness and the provision of ample firewood, there is no mention of gifts, so it is not possible to assess thoughtfulness in this context.

North York Moors National Park borders Kirkbymoorside, a beautiful old market town located between Helmsley and Pickering. Located in the heart of the countryside, it exudes a distinct sense of place that can only be found in a site like this in the Yorkshire Dales. On Wednesdays, there is a weekly market where visitors may find a range of establishments, from cafes and restaurants to antique shops. National Park walking trails and scenic villages like Hutton-le-Hole and Lastingham are just a short drive away. Visitors to the region should not miss a trip on the North York Moors Steam Railway, which departs from Pickering. From Castle Howard, you can easily reach York, Whitby and the Yorkshire Coast.

Plenty of fire wood left for hot tub and burner. Lovely facilities, the shower was amazing and bed was comfy.

All I can say it’s first class . Cabin was immaculate and clean . The whole experience was 5 star. Hot tub was amazing. Stella the owner was superb . We stayed 4 nights but planning some weekends to go back . Highly recommend

It is very comfortable, peaceful & private, although we found it very hot at night with a 10.5 Tog duvet, and that was with cooler weather. The wood fired hot tub was great, even in the rain. Access is just off the A170, but you have to be carefull exiting as it is just off a bend. We do hope to return next June
