This gorgeous barn conversion is perfectly located on the edge of the village green, near a mini supermarket and traditional pubs; with travel links nearby, there is no need for a car. The city of York is just 5 miles away, or 6 minutes by train, and is crammed with many cultural places of interest for the holidaymaker: the Minster, its medieval walls, boat trips on the River Ouse, York Races, and many museums (including The National Railway Museum, the Castle Museum, and the internationally renowned Jorvik Viking Centre). Snaking through the centre of York is The Shambles, a cobbled, medieval shopping street.

There are also two live theatres with both local and touring shows. A six screen cinema is just a mile away, as is an indoor play area. The town of Harrogate with its historic spa is 18 miles away, where you can spend a day indulging in some relaxation followed by an afternoon tea. Enter this beautifully converted barn into a stunning atrium. You will be met with a central oak staircase and a double height window providing lots of natural light it makes for an extra special space where you can gather together. On one side is a stylish kitchen with an island, where you can prepare three course dinners or long, lazy breakfasts.

It is fully equipped with an induction hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. Sit at the breakfast bar while the chef of the group rustles up a homecooked meal which you can then enjoy on the front terrace, overlooking the village green. The Barn has terraces at both the back and front to catch the best of the sun and provide a wealth of places to enjoy a meal or a drink. After dinner, head to the other side of the room to sit back and unwind on one of the comfy sofas. There is also a Smart TV should you want to just relax and watch a film.When night calls, venture up the stunning oak staircase and choose from two bedrooms that are separated by the atrium.

Both the king size room and the twin have large en suite bathrooms, both with large shower cubicles and WCs. Outside the back of the barn is a courtyard area where you can enjoy your morning coffee or an evening tipple. There is plenty of off road parking. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 king size and 1 twin. 2 en suite shower rooms with shower enclosure and WC, and separate ground floor WC.
