These charming cottages are tucked away down a private lane from the peaceful village on the owner s farm. Perfectly located between York and the Yorkshire Coast there's plenty to explore. The surrounding Yorkshire Wolds scenery is breath taking with rolling chalk hills perfect for picnics, walkers and cyclists. Only 10 miles from the historic city of York where attractions such as York Dungeons, Jorvik Viking centre, National Railway museum, the quaint Shambles shopping area, river cruises and much more to keep the whole family entertained. This cottage is bursting with character, featuring stone flooring, exposed beams and quirky handcrafted features throughout. The cottage is all on ground level and offers an open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge has a comfy sofa, two comfortable chairs and a TV for those lazy evenings in watching a good film. The kitchen area benefits from an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. The solid dining table is a great spot to enjoy dinner with loved ones or plan your next adventures. There are two bedrooms, the first master suite features a king size bed with TV and a beautiful en suite bathroom with separate WC. The second twin bedroom can be made in to a super king size upon request, and benefits from an en suite shower room and WC. Guests can make use of the fun filled shared games room, complete with 7 pool/snooker table, air hockey, football table and full size table tennis Outside, there is a courtyard with garden furniture, just perfect for those warm summer evenings or for little ones, a playground can be found just a stroll away.
