Stroll along the cobbles down the world-famous Shambles or take one of the terrifying night-time ghost walks which are a must. This vibrant city is bursting at the seams with delightful restaurants, traditional inns serving real ales and a wide choice of teashops including the famous Betty’s Tea Rooms. What an amazing gem of a place to stay, immaculately clean with plenty of outdoor space in such a quiet area, yet close to the city, the bus into York is just over the road, the Green Tree pub was very close by & dog friendly too. Plenty of takeaways to choose from nearby too. We enjoyed our stay, & will definitely book again. Hopefully soon!

A great place to stay to use as base camp to explore the beautiful city of York and surrounds. We drove through the Dales one day and the Moors on another, both about an hour away . Dinner at 2 of the local pubs . Ay Come Inn was really comfortable, perfectly clean and in such a quiet location. We had a little bit of trouble locating it initially as the entrance door wasn't obvious from the street but was a minor issue once we saw the parking space sign for no 4. Can highly recommend this spot .

Perfect place for a couple to spend a few days or a week. Everything you need including parking. Great location with quick access to the ring road to get to tourist spots outside York, whilst being on a short bus ride into York city.
