Guests say

Guests consistently praise the cottage for its tasteful decor, comfortable furnishings, and high standards of cleanliness. The welcoming touches, such as fresh flowers and a welcome pack, are frequently mentioned, as are the well-equipped kitchen and the added luxury of a hot tub. The location is appreciated for its proximity to local attractions and walks, making it an ideal base for exploring. The thoughtful hosts are commended for their friendliness and helpfulness, contributing to the overall excellent experience of the stay.

Reviewers are unanimous in their appreciation of the cottage's cleanliness, often describing it as immaculate and exceptionally clean. This indicates a very high standard of cleanliness maintained by the hosts.

The location is highly regarded for its convenience to nearby attractions, walks, and local amenities. Some guests noted the proximity to a main road, but this did not significantly detract from the overall positive feedback about the location.

Comfort is a highlight in the reviews, with guests finding the beds super comfy and the living areas cosy. The underfloor heating and wood burner are particularly appreciated for their contribution to the cottage's cosy atmosphere.

Facilities such as the well-equipped kitchen, hot tub, and log fire are frequently praised. The maintenance of the hot tub and the overall provision of amenities contribute to a very positive experience. However, there is a mention of the lack of instructions for some appliances, which suggests a slight room for improvement.

The thoughtfulness of the hosts is evident in the welcome packs, fresh flowers, and the general readiness of the cottage for guests' arrival. While these gifts are greatly appreciated, it is noted that such personal touches, though common, are not guaranteed for every stay.

The cottage has been designed to a very high standards and has everything you could need whilst away. The pubs in the village are only a short walk away really and very friendly. We met the owners whilst there and they we're very personable too. Highly recommended

Location was great, facilities were great, we’d definitely book again!

It was like a show home. Everything was perfect from the fresh flowers to the welcome tray to the supply of wood and the hot tub. The only negative was the house is on a main road, there isn’t a foot path to walk on. To walk our dog we had to drive to the village and then walk there. It wasn’t an issue for us, but dog owners need to be aware.
