The cottage is well equipped and comfortable but the cleanliness needs some attention. The kitchen cupboards and bread bin and tea/ coffee containers were all dirty when we arrived also the sofa and chairs had cushions that had a doggy smell and needed a wash !The beds were comfy and clean but some clothes had been left by the previous people so obviously the drawers and wardrobes hadn’t been cleaned. It’s a quiet location but Staithes and Runswick Bay are a short drive away.

Lovely cottage. Really well appointed and relaxing. We were able to do plenty of local walks from the cottage and further afield. Really close to the coast and scaling dam.Would definitely recommend the cottage, especially if you are looking to switch off in a comfortable environment.
