The Tipsy Bee at 143 is a charming and well-maintained cottage in Guisborough, praised for its cleanliness, cosy atmosphere, and thoughtful touches. Its central location is ideal for exploring local shops, restaurants, and nearby attractions. Guests appreciate the high standard of decor, with a delightful bee theme, and the provision of essentials and welcome treats. While the steep staircase may challenge those with mobility issues, the overall experience is highly recommended for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Guests consistently describe the cottage as spotlessly clean, with several reviews highlighting the exceptional cleanliness. This suggests a very high standard maintained by the owners.
The central location in Guisborough is frequently mentioned as perfect, with easy access to local amenities, pubs, and the coast. The proximity to attractions and the convenience for exploring the region contribute to a high score.
Comfort is well-regarded with mentions of comfortable beds and a cosy atmosphere. However, a couple of comments about a flimsy dining table and a less comfortable sofa suggest a slight deduction from a perfect score.
The cottage is praised for being well-equipped and thoughtfully furnished. The presence of a log fire and a well-equipped kitchen are positives, though the mention of a flimsy dining table indicates a minor issue with facilities.
The owners are commended for their thoughtfulness, with mentions of a welcome pack and hidden treats. While these are greatly appreciated, it is politely noted that such gifts, while delightful, are not guaranteed for every stay.
