Based just 13 miles from the historic minster city of York there are activities for everyone. Walk the beautiful cobbled streets, visit the magnificent minster or place your bets at York Racecourse while sipping champagne in the sunshine. Set in the owner's grounds, which extend to just over an acre, yet where privacy is assured. The property is securely tucked away behind electric gates. Inside, all the rooms are on one level. Enter the property into the hallway, with plenty of space for coats and boots and leads into the spacious kitchen, ideal for cooking up a romantic meal for two. The dining area with seating for four is positioned in a very light and relaxing garden room with patio doors out onto the decking offering amazing views of the garden and countryside beyond. The garden room also has a door that leads directly into the heated indoor swimming pool and sauna, ideal for a relaxing dip or a quick length or two of the pool before breakfast. Relax in the lounge after a long day of exploring with comfy seating and a Smart TV, making it ideal whatever the weather or time of year. The master bedroom is a double, and completing the property is the shower room. Outside there is a large decked area and extensive gardens extending to just over one acre, shared with the owner, including a Japanese garden and areas laid to lawn with mature shrubs and trees. Need to know: 1 double bedroom. 1 shower room with WC. Electric oven and hob, microwave, coffee machine, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Welcome pack. Smart TV in lounge. Shared garden and large decking area with seating. Private parking for 1 car. Sauna and Indoor heated swimming pool open 7 days a week, 7am 10pm, please note that swimming lessons operate out of the pool daily. Guests have private use of the facilities outside of these times, times for use to be discussed with owner upon arrival. Shop and pub within 1 mile. Please note the owners have 2 small friendly dogs that roam around the grounds. Sleeps 2 1 (children aged 2 12 years can be accommodate on camp bed) .
