Charming detached property sleeping four guests, the coach house of the former vicarage in the North Yorkshire village of Staxton, situated just five miles from the coast and seven miles from Scarborough.

This property enjoys a pleasant village location in the Yorkshire Wolds, just 6 miles from both the coast and the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. The local beach at Cayton Bay is a lovely quiet expanse of sand backed by sheltering cliffs, and is home to a well regarded surf school. For a more traditional take on the English seaside, the town of Scarborough is located just seven miles from the property and not only offers a well appointed beach with ice cream parlours, cafes, shops, and amusement arcades, but is also home to a number of interesting and fun attractions including the Alpamare WaterPark, a Sea Life aquarium, an open air theatre, and the medieval fort of Scarborough Castle. Guests approach this property through the delightful walled garden before entering the house into the hallway which opens onto the kitchen/diner. Here, guests can pop the kettle on and make themselves at home after their journey and familiarise themselves with the well equipped kitchen area where they will find an Aga, as well as a conventional oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, and dishwasher. The washing machine and tumble dryer can be found housed in a separate utility room which also has a WC. Moving through to the lounge, guests will find an inviting space with plenty of comfortable seating and carefully chosen soft furnishings, as well as a warming wood burner, and TV/DVD. Upstairs, there are two double bedrooms, both of which benefit from their own TV, allowing guests to watch a late night film in bed. The bathroom can also be found on the first floor, offering a shower over bath and WC. The large patio doors from the lounge open onto the property s enclosed lawned garden, where there is also a patio seating area with garden furniture.
