Cayton, a small village and civil parish in North Yorkshire's Scarborough district, is a great place for a beach getaway because it has a decent selection of services and attractions both inside the village and nearby. The village has a nice number of pubs and stores that are ideal for a self-catered stay, but you can find a larger selection of waterfront restaurants in the neighbouring resort town of Scarborough, which is packed with activities for visitors of all ages.
