A lovely ground floor apartment situated on The Bay holiday village, close to the seaside resort of Filey, home to a magnificent bay with beautiful sands and direct access onto the meadow. With excellent facilities on site, Rosie's Retreat has much to offer including a heated indoor swimming pool, gym, steam room and sauna. Tastefully renovated with a contemporary feel, this retreat is the perfect escape for couples, and those wishing to be at one with the idyllic location. The interior of Rosie's Retreat is an open-plan setup, ideal for socialising or simply relaxing amongst the comfortable furnishings. With a modern studio design, you will find a delightful kitchen resting on the back wall, and a lovely sofa situated to the side. This accommodation is also home to a wonderful bathroom with an overhead shower, and a nicely decorated double bedroom laced in neutral colours. After a long afternoon, this is a peaceful spot to unwind with a good book and take in the soothing atmosphere. Filey has enjoyed a reputation for its resort since Victorian times, set beside the magnificent Filey Bay, a long stretch of beautiful sand, with Filey Brigg and its shallow rockpools to the north. You will be spoilt for choice when it comes to adventure, with donkey rides available on the beach, children's play areas and crazy golf. Nearby, Flamborough Head boasts high cliffs with exhilarating walks, and Bempton Cliffs are a haven for bird lovers. A heart-warming cottage that was made for two.
The seaside town of Filey offers a good old fashioned English seaside holiday. It features Filey Bay, which is a lovely, long sandy beach and Filey Brigg to the north with shallow rock pools. There are interesting shops, a coble landing, two promenades, pony rides and childrens play areas, while within easy driving distance are Scarborough and Bridlington.

The main door was a little hard to open so could do to be checked. Car parking was easy. Getting to the beach was only a short walk and was lovely. It was lovely and clean. The only down side was the cost in the site bar and restaurant but that's nothing to do with the property. So when booking be aware of this as you would need to travel 3 to 4 miles. Overall we had a great break with our four legged girl.

Disappointed with 4pm check-in, not ideal when travelling from far & especially as a single parent. Also noticed half way through the holiday that the dishwasher had not been emptied by the previous guests or cleaners so was unsure where the rest of the utensils were upto this point.

Please make it brighter. Such a gloomy atmosphere difficult to shave etc. Need more crockery and cutlery. Four of everything not enough. Apartment block front door needs fixing and the lock , our key did not work twice. Came in thru patio door. Apart from these things a nice place. NB. Had to leave early due wife illness tried to email and text numbers but got no reply!
