The rear garden in the cottage is very well-kept with a lawn, pleasant shrubbery and a delightful summer house to sit in whatever the weather, and enjoy an evening drink. Pickering is a fantastic little town, it has a full range of amenities as well as some interesting activities to discover. Further afield is the North York Moors, a must-do whilst in this area with all sorts of things to enjoy. The popular seaside resort of Scarborough is also within driving distance if you fancy changing things up. A beautifully decorated cottage in a fantastic little town.

This town has traditional shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants, it serves as the ogateway to the North York Moors National Park. Enjoy a ride on the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway. The Beck Isle Museum is also well worth a visit, with its black and white photography and displays of rural life. Walkers will be spoiled for choice by the hills, valleys, rivers and wildlife of the North York Moors, whilst the city of York and the Heritage Coast are just half an hour’s drive away. All in all, a wonderful setting for a relaxing holiday.
