Please note your lodge will not be available until 4pm.
In line with government guidance to ensure you and your family are safe during your stay social distancing practices will be in place across the park and any shared facilities may be limited or closed.
The on-site bar/restaurant will be closed Mondays and Tuesdays moving forward due to issues with staffing.
Bar and restaurant will be closed between 04/11/2024 - 21/11/2024, and will reopen on the 22/11/2024 due to staff holidays.
Please note that unfortunately due to a fire at the TV mast in Bilsdale, television services are not working on site. However all TVs are Smart TVs and can therefore use internet based TV services.
If you plan on dining at Spencer’s Bar and Grill during your stay, we highly recommend for you to book ahead of your stay to guarantee a table.
Please note charging electric vehicles from your accommodation is strictly prohibited.

On entering the site went to the bar for the key. Was required to fill and sign in a form by ticking a number of topics which were to be explained at the lodge. Followed the agent to the lodge where there was a nice gravelled parking space and a view to the lake. On reaching the decking area the Luxury level disappeared. the outside furnishings were soaking wet an torn and stained with mould. the hammock was in a similar condition. Not an area that you would want to sit in.

We had a lovely stay in newton dale lodge. It was peaceful and calm and was exactly what we were needing. The setting is beautiful with a nice look out to the park to watch the wee one and a view of the large pond. We will be looking to book again next year. I really don’t think this should be listed as a luxury lodge, the site is very nice, but the lodge and outdoor furniture needs a bit of tlc, but saying that we enjoyed our time there.
