The charming market town of Pickering is well worth a visit, brimming with history owing to its 13th century castle and museum, whilst the high-street lined with shops, pubs and takeaways offers all of your essential amenities. The delights of Flamingo Land Resort are easily accessible by car, sure to be a hit with the little ones with it's exhilarating theme park rides and award-winning zoo, whilst those looking for a change of pace may prefer to spend a peaceful afternoon exploring the vast open moorland of the North York Moors National Park. The Park's highlight has to be Dalby Forest, an enchanting woodland that is perfect for those walking and nature enthusiasts of the group.
