Boasting a prime position within the North York Moors National Park and a contemporary interior with stylish furnishings, Beckdale is a superb dwelling for couples or a family of four looking to explore this fabulous region. Step into the well-appointed kitchen, where you can look forward to cooking up flavourful meals for your loved ones, ready to enjoy at the dining table for four over a bottle of wine. Savour the last of the day’s sunshine out in the private garden, where you can enjoy your favourite tipple and toast marshmallows around the fire pit. As the evening grows darker, curl up on the plush seating in the sitting room and select a much-loved show from the TV. Indulge in a blissful soak in the beautiful freestanding bath or a refreshing rinse in the large walk-in shower, before wrapping yourself in a toasty, fluffy towel, courtesy of the heated towel rail. Thornton-le-Dale, a picturesque village nestled between the North York Moors National Park and the Dalby Forest, is only two miles east of Pickering. This is a hikers', bikers', and nature lovers' dream come true at the apex of a stunning valley. It is only a 13-mile drive to Scarborough or a 20-mile drive to Whitby, both of which are top-notch seaside resorts in the UK. About an hour's drive away, York and Castle Howard provide all the history and culture a vacationer could ask for. There are numerous summer festivals and shows held in the nearby market towns of Pickering, Malton, Kirbymoorside and Helmsley.
