The property is just outside the picturesque village of Allerston with endless routes across the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and the Dalby Forest. Dalby Forest is famous for its’ world championship mountain biking course, hiking routes, including themed routes catering for the young visitors, an activity centre and Go Ape for the adrenaline seekers amongst you. Also, perfectly located to explore popular market towns of Helmsley, Malton and Pickering, a base for the North Yorkshire Heritage Steam Railway for a stunning journey across the Moors to the coastal town of Whitby. Families will not be stuck for something to fill their days with trips to a choice of museums, theme parks and trips to nearby quaint fishing villages.

You may be lucky enough to see the cows greet you as you drive down the tree lined drive passed the fields on your approach to the cottage. Accessing through a private entrance in to the bright and spacious open plan lounge/ kitchen/ diner area with underfloor heating for a really cosy welcome. Relax in front of the TV, put on a DVD or simply put your feet up and read a book while the light beams through the window. Prepare a nice home cooked meal in the well equipped kitchen while socialising in the open plan space and dine at the farmhouse style dining table. No need to waste time washing dishes- let the dishwasher do the hard work while you make the most of every minute in your home from home. A hallway leads off kitchen area to kingsize and twin room Also off the hallway is the modern shower room with WC.

Heading outside from the lounge in to a traditional walled courtyard which is shared with the neighbouring property, furnished with picnic tables and BBQ’s for Al Fresco dining and to enjoy the Yorkshire sun with your four legged friend. There is also space to store your bikes- just ask the friendly owners who are on hand to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable.
