Snaptrip says

Guests consistently praise Farm Cottage for its spaciousness, beautiful setting, and excellent indoor pool. The property's kitchen and conservatories are highlights, offering great views and comfort. The hosts are commended for their friendliness and helpfulness, contributing to a delightful stay. The cottage's location is ideal for exploring local attractions, and the presence of farm animals adds charm. Some minor maintenance issues are noted, but overall, the property is highly recommended for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The cottage is frequently described as clean and tidy, with a particularly clean changing area for the pool. No negative comments about cleanliness suggest a high standard is maintained.

The location is praised for its beautiful setting and proximity to local attractions. It is described as ideal for exploring the North Yorkshire Moors and coast, with a variety of activities within a 30-minute drive.

The property is noted for its spaciousness and comfortable areas, including multiple sitting areas and en-suite bedrooms. However, some guests suggest that an update to the furniture, particularly the beds and mattresses, would enhance comfort further.

Facilities like the indoor pool and well-equipped kitchen are highly appreciated. Some guests mention the lack of a washing machine/dryer and issues with showers and an oven, indicating room for improvement in maintenance.

While guests mention receiving fresh eggs and a chocolate cake, there are not enough reviews discussing such gestures to accurately score thoughtfulness. It should be noted that while these gifts are appreciated, they are not guaranteed for every stay.

The pool is brilliant. The views over the fields from our cottage were lovely. The generous accommodation worked well for our group.

Upon arrival the cottage was clean and tidy and there was coffee, tea, sugar, milk and fresh farm eggs and a lovely chocolate cake which we very much enjoyed. We met Eugene the owner who was so lovely and chatty and just said if we needed anything to phone or message him anytime. The onsite swimming pool and jacuzzi was the highlight for us. It us open everyday from 10-8pm and we made good use everyday and we had the pool to ourselves which was so much fun. There were balls and floats already there to use which was great and we made use of them having daily challenges of volley ball..Great fun. The supermarket is a 16 minute drive away (morrisons) although you can organise a delivery which we didn't know but we will for next time

We all had a great time, and I'd definitely recommend it to friends. There were a couple of problems, however - the showers didn't get warm in two of the rooms, so I let everyone use ours (!), and the main oven wasn't working at all. However, we found ways around it, and, along with the fab pool, thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!
