Old Malton is a small picturesque village, a pretty Yorkshire market town, located on the north of the River Derwent on the historic boundary between the North and East Ridings of Yorkshire. There are two pubs in the village where you can stroll to easily or if you fancy a bit more choice, potter off into the town. There are so many country walks to enjoy throughout the area or can head to Pickering where you can catch a North York Railway steam train which will take you through to the pretty seaside town of Whitby.
