Beech View is a charming and well-regarded holiday rental, praised for its beautiful garden, private hot tub, and proximity to Malton's amenities. Guests appreciate the cosy comfort, the attentive owners, and the property's tranquility. While compact, the cottage is equipped with thoughtful touches and modern conveniences, making it a delightful retreat for couples seeking relaxation and convenience.
The majority of guests found Beech View to be clean and well-maintained, with only one review mentioning issues with shower cleanliness and towel quality. This seems to be an isolated incident, as other reviews do not reflect this concern.
The location is highly praised for its proximity to Malton's town centre, cafes, and easy train access to nearby attractions. The peaceful setting and availability of local amenities contribute to a high score in this category.
Guests consistently mention the comfortable bed and the relaxing atmosphere of the cottage and garden. The compact nature of the property is noted, but it does not significantly detract from the overall comfort experienced by visitors.
Facilities are generally well-received, with the hot tub being a standout feature. However, some minor maintenance issues such as a slippery shower, loose table, and the need for a slip mat are noted. The presence of modern amenities like smart TV and air fryer are appreciated.
While many reviews express gratitude for the owners' attentiveness and the provision of amenities, there is no specific mention of gifts. Therefore, it is not possible to score this category based on the provided information.
This charming studio property is quietly tucked away behind a high stone wall, in the pretty market town of Malton. Accessed via the Old Lodge Hotel grounds, it is the perfect romantic hideaway for couples to enjoy the beautiful surrounding countryside of the North York Moors National Park, with easy access to the east coast resorts of Whitby, Scarborough and Filey. Small and compact, this creatively designed studio has a pull down king-size bed, which fits neatly into a feature wall. There is a cosy kitchen area, with bespoke hand-built painted cupboards and fold-away dining table, whilst two comfortable leather chairs provide relaxed viewing of the Smart TV.
With character beams and an exposed stone wall, this lovely little property has patio doors opening onto a very private and secluded courtyard garden, with its own bubbling hot tub; a sheltered and sunny spot in which to unwind with a glass of wine. A five minute walk brings you into the hub of this vibrant market town, with some excellent restaurants, inns and quaint tea rooms. Wander around the galleries and antique shops and experience the weekly market held in the central square. The surrounding area has many attractions, including stately homes such as Castle Howard, Scampston Hall and Duncombe Park.

Beech View is small but perfectly formed and very well equipped with lots of thought and clever design it has everything you need, with the added bonus of a large hot tub in a private courtyard garden. Perfect for couples. Itâs ideally located for a short stroll into Malton which has lots of eateries and independent shops and easy access to the Train station.

A lot of thought with successful outcomes had gone into the interior and the garden, though not for me because of the time of year, was large and no doubt enjoyable in the summer months. Location was absolutely fantastic with no more than five minutes walk to the hub of Malton and no more than 60 seconds walk to the nearby hotel which was great, good food, interesting decor and very friendly.

..The accomodation was clean, had everything we needed and was warm and welcoming..as usual!. The private hot tub and gorgeous garden is a delight in any weather and very relaxing. The location never dissapoints either...Malton has great shops, great pubs, great food and is right on the doorstep. This time we went on the train to York...fab value and also had a lovely wander around Dalby Forest...beautiful ...and only a short drive away. We love a stay here especially in the winter...and hope to return every winter for as long as we can...Thank you
