Step through the stable door and find a cosy sitting room with beamed ceilings and a log burning stove, to your left and an open-plan kitchen/diner to you right. This room offers a sociable space for enjoying tasty home-cooked meals and planning tomorrow's adventures. Upstairs there are two pleasing bedrooms; one with a king-size bed and and a twin room that can also be converted into a super king. In between the two bedrooms is the family bathroom. The location of the property means that you are but a stone's throw from all the main amenities Kirkbymoorside has to offer; the selection of shops and eateries, as well as the numerous antique shops, art gallery, and gift shops. The property also benefits from off street parking and a garage, which is rare for this location in the heart of the town. The seaside resorts of Whitby and Scarborough are within driving distance and offer a range of quirky shops and independent places to eat as well as fascinating heritage attractions and Blue Flag beaches. Kirkbymoorside is a great base for cycling in North Yorkshire, indeed the 2018 Tour de Yorkshire ran right through the town. Dalby Forest mountain bike trails and outdoor activity centre are also just 30 minutes drive away. This lovely cottage is the perfect place to base a romantic getaway, a break with friends or a family adventure in North Yorkshire.

The market town of Kirkbymoorside lies on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, in between the towns of Helmsley and Pickering. Visitors will find a number eateries from tea rooms, pubs and restaurants as well as antique shops, while there is a market day on Wednesday. The scenery of the National Park is close by, as are the picturesque villages of Hutton-le-Hole and Lastingham.
